Headlights On Low Beam Have Been Designed With Light/dark Zones When Focused For The Factory Specifications. There Is Little Diffusion Of Light Into The Upper{dark} Zone And Objects Above Three Feet Or So Are Not Illuminated At 100 Feet. I Recently Passed A Pedestrian Walking On The Road Shoulder, And The Person Was Only Visible From The Waist Down. Stop Signs Are Not Illuminated, But The Poles Are. I Had The Dealer Check The Lights And Was Told They Were Set To The Design Spec. I Contacted toyota Inc. And Went Through Three Layers Of People To Be Told That It Is As Designed And Could Not Be Changed. This Is A Severe Safety Hazard.

Mileage was 100 miles. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):4T1B11HK3JU. TOYOTA CAMRY 2018 problem was reported in ISLIP, NY. Vehicle was not using ANTI-LOCK BRAKES. Vehicle was not using Cruise Control. VEHICLE SPEED: 30 mph.
