I bought a Toyota Sienna with 4,000 miles on it and the original tires are already wearing out at 30,000 miles even with Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires. I rotated the tires every 5,000 miles. Do you know why the tires are already worn out?

The tires on 2014 highlander are worn at 22000 miles. Vehicle has been to dealership for service and tire rotation. No way tires should be that worn in less than 2 years.

My hood popped open while driving on the highway at about 90 km/hr. It smashed the window, wrecked the hood, and dented the roof. I was able to pull over without incident. Vehicle is a 2003 Toyota Sienna. The vehicle had been into the dealer a few days before to have a remote starter installed. The dealer reviewed a tape and indicated that the hood was shut because it looked flush when it left the shop. The safety latch obviously failed. Whether the hood was somehow open, or whether it opened on its own, is unknown. I asked the dealer to speak with Toyota about the specs on the safety to determine if the safety failed. The dealer indicated that the safety was not supposed to prevent this from happening if the primary latch was not engaged (e.g. the hood was somehow left open).
